This program is held in English. The Sinhala Language School was established to instil our mother tongue, the Sinhala language, in the Sinhalese children which is usually done with great difficulty when residing in a foreign country. Learning the Sinhala language, which is over 2000 years old, yields many benefits. This language, used even by Great Arahants, is extremely helpful in understanding Dhamma. The Sinhala letters used by the Great Arahants in compiling the Tripitaka in written form are still used today. You can enrol your child in the Sinhala Language School which is held every Sunday from 10.30 am onwards.
